Apple stopped the production of Power Mac G4 cube on July 3, 2001
as per their press release given on

They sold a total of 148,000 Cubes during the entire lifetime of Cube production.
It sold 12,000 units in the quarter ended in March, 2001.

The Cube was introduced at a price of $1,799 in July 2000; the price was cut to $1,499 in January 2001.
