There is currently no *supported* dual processor upgrade for the Cube. There are several unsupported and/or ill-advised option available for the brave and/or adventurous: Upgrade to a dual 450 or 500 MHz processor module from a tower system
-or- upgrade with a Sonnet Encore™/ST G4 Duet. The Sonnet upgrade is a bit more involved (and unsupported!),
but detailed instructions can be found here.

has shared his own upgrade FAQ for the unsupported Sonnet Encore Dual 500 MHz upgrade, here: http://www.cubeowner.com/encoredual500.html
Not satisfied with a Dual 500, Boris took the next (il)logical step and decided to set his sights on a Dual 1.0 GHz upgrade for his Cube. Although PowerLogix had briefly supported Dual 800 upgrades for the Cube, it didn't take long before problems were reported with them. DC/DC cards were being blown. The poor little Cubes couldn't stand the heat and they gave up, leaving a trail of smoldering Cubes in their wake. With a new breed of cooler, lower-draw chips on the horizon, PowerLogix is working on making *supported* Dual Cubes a reality again soon. But Boris didn't want to wait any longer :)
Boris' journey to the Dual 1.0GHz Water-Cooled Cube is detailed in these Forum threads:
Now I have watercooling...
Now I need watercooling...
Whooops! I did it again...
And in this Gallery Album: http://www.cubeowner.com/gallery/dual_gig_okatu
I would like to take this opportunity to remind everyone once again that any modifications, overclocking, unsupported upgrading, cooling rigs, etc... are done AT YOUR OWN RISK.
To quote John Highhouse, of Waypoint Distribution (on behalf of PowerLogix): "We do not authorize or approve of the Dual boards being reworked to use in the Cube. Please warn your readers that such actions void the warranty."
Bottom line: If you choose to experiment with a product that is not intended to be used the way you CHOOSE to use it, you must expect to absorb the cost of any failure.
